How can I organize 45 Foursomes on a gogo Golf Tournament?

Need to organize 45 Foursomes so the tournament and the play rhythm is good. How can I organize 45 Foursomes on a gogo Golf Tournament?
45 foursomes is too large a field to put on the course on any one day. Your ideal is to find a course which has 36 holes and have the pro set the playing schedule for you. If it is confined to an 18 hole course 2 foursomes per hole will take between 6 and 6 1/2 hours for a shot gun foremat and you will still need to accomodate the remaining 9 squads. Why not have the smaller field with 18 foursomes in a morning round and 18 in the afternoon. That will provide a good pace of play which the players will appreciate. How can I organize 45 Foursomes on a gogo Golf Tournament?
thats a hard one. you would have to do it in shifts of eighteen at at a time. or 18 18 then 9 . spaced at least 3.5 hours in between each shift for 18 holes.i would do nine holes instead. so it can go faster. with 2.5 hours in between each initial tee off.How can I organize 45 Foursomes on a gogo Golf Tournament?
Use a tournament program to organize your groups and prize money. You should try to have all the groups play to a similar overall handicap. You can find the programs online and they aren't very expensive. You club may be able to help you with this as well. They may charge you a fee too set it up, but it could save you a lot of time and effort.
Spread the tee times out to 10 minutes and enforce it with a clock on the first tee. You might also want to play in 3 somes instead. You also need to enforce a pace of play policy. The GAM (Golf Assoc of Michigan) does a fantastic job of this.

We play in 3-somes w/ 10 minute tee times. The front and back 9 has a target time to stay under (usually 2:15 or 2:10 depending on the course). There's an official on the 9th and 18th hole recording your time. If you're under the target time, you're ok. If you're over the target time and you're more than 15 minute behind the group in front of you (they measure the time between the flag stick was put in), then everyone in the group gets a 1 stroke penalty. This can apply to both the front and back 9.

While it might seem extreme, the pace of play in GAM tournaments is fantastic.
