What colour eyeshadows would REALLY show off and make my [brown] eyes look beautiful?

That is a picture of my eyes, there is a little bit of red-eye from the camera in the center, sorry. Please no brown or red eyeshadows, i have enough of those already! Best answer is the one i choose to buy :)What colour eyeshadows would REALLY show off and make my [brown] eyes look beautiful?
Everyone knows for brown eyes, you use green shadows. For green eyes, brown shadows. For blue eyes, grey shadows.



You can also use smokey eyes, and purple... but for simple, eye catching, everyday---green is the way to go.
i was reading InStyle mag. and it said the best colors for brown eyes are purples and blues. personally i like purples on myself! if i were you i would get the cheaper eye shadows first to see what shade you like best.What colour eyeshadows would REALLY show off and make my [brown] eyes look beautiful?
Okay so my eyes are the exact same color!! I have the Maybelline Quads eyeshadow. This is the website, you can choose which eyeshadow you like best. Purples, browns, golds, and greens look best. I have tons of there quads...they are kinda shimmery. I use bronzish gold on my lid, copper on the crease, cream on my brow line, and dark brown on the corners of my eye. I also bought this gold liquid glitter, and lined my eyelid with it...it really made my brown eyes pop. Purple liquid liner really makes brown eyes stand out also.

According to color theory, harmonious color combinations use any two colors opposite each other on the color wheel. So if your eyes are brown you should use blues or purples! get a light baby pink or a bright orange and put those 2 together and u would look beautiful and u have very pretty eyes
I use many different colours for my eyes but green being the main one as it stands out and looks striking

i like gold shimmery eyeshadows. i think it makes my brown eyes glow
Greens and cinnamon colors are great to use, aswell as just grey and the like.

It's annoying, I know, I have brown eyes too.

You could always buy some contact lenses?
I have brown eyes and usually always put on red.
blue looks best with brown eyes. because blue and brown are on opposite sides of the color wheel they make each other stand out more.
a light purple works well for brown eyes...i have brown eyes and i prefer the charcoal and silver colors...i found a maybelline eyeshadow compact the other day..it has like a white color for the brow bone, silver for the lid and dark grey for the crease...looks really good actually
any shade of purple looks fabulous...... try a purple shade with a blue eyeliner!!
