Are Thai gogo girls typical Thais?

I often hear about "good thai girls" or "this is my wife, she never worked bar". These gentlemen are obviously fools. I fail to see any difference between Thais in the bars or other Thais. Are they not just the same?Are Thai gogo girls typical Thais?
The gogo girls come from every corner of Thailand so it makes sense they would be representative. Thais are all for sale, I see no difference.

Well, lots of generalizations in a question like this - so, the answer would resoundingly be, yes and no - do thai go go girls want the customers money - yes. does a "good girl" who is being a wife want more money - yes. Does a Western wife want more money - yes. Do you and I want more money - - sure, you get the point by now - - so, I agree with you, that they are all the same in wanting more out of life - that is human nature. The difference comes in with how they act toward you and where you place your values as well as what they will do to extract the money.



Do they tell you sick buffalo stories or tell you that they want to be able to take care of their mother %26amp; father? - This can be difficult for Westerners to accept.



And no, they are not just the same - there are good girls working in the bars - there are bad girls working in the fields. I would not divide it out by occupation. Some girls work in the bar for 2 days - they do not use it to define who they are in this world. Some have worked in the bar for years and stop work and make good wives.



But really, the only thing that matters is how the lady might treat you and you her.



If your question is, "are there decent people out there" yes. My family is extremely decent. And yes, I have treated them well too.



Well, not to go on - but, one guiding principle for you, something to look for/at is the ladies family. They are beholden to their family. If the family drinks, gambles, pisses money away, then they are likely to impose upon their daughter for more - and she will look to you. Keep your eyes open.



Another thing that I have seen often leads to disappointment is age [go go dancers tend to be younger girls?? no? ] - if a guy is the same age as her grandfather, well, - you get what you pay for - someone closer to their age might have more in common if they want a lasting relaionship.



Sure I could go on - but try and keep a perspective, judge individually - after all, we are all unique, just like all the other 6 billion people walking around.
Of course theres a difference.



The girls that work in the bars etc,for the most part havent had much of an education ,living a strange lifestyle,with lots of pissed peeps on a nightly basis.In the end the lifestyle is bound to rub off.
