What is the difference between a stripper and a GoGo Dancer?

do gogo dancer take on their clothes too?....im jus curious...What is the difference between a stripper and a GoGo Dancer?
strippers take off thier clothes and preform sex acts and with gogo dancers they dance around poles in the night clubs in very revealing clothes
GO-GO dancer is an old term used mostly back in the 60's and 70's to identify girls who danced, with their clothes on, in night clubs and shows. Some would dance in cages or on bar counters or on a stage. The term is still used but not as much. Strippers, on the other hand, take off all or most of their clothes as part of an act....it's actually considered an art form when performed tastefully. What is the difference between a stripper and a GoGo Dancer?
stripper-all in nude.

a gogo dancer-just a hot dance with long boot n bikini only n won't strip.
We went to clubs in the 70s where go-go dancers danced. They did wear bikinis, but did not remove any clothing. Strippers are there for the express purpose of removing clothing. What is the difference between a stripper and a GoGo Dancer?
I think they just dress and dance provocatively, not necessarily removing any clothing
GoGo dancers sound like they wear boots from the 70s. Strippers remove all their clothes.
a gogo dancer is features in grindhouse
a GoGo Dancer doesn't strip
Started in the 60's, West Coast, Go-Go's were in cages wore mini skirts and vinyl white short "gogo" boots. Had big poofy hair 60's style.
GoGo dancers keep their clothes ON and usually dance in cages. Strippers take their clothes OFF and usually dance on poles
The name duh!!!!
