Does anyone know of a good place to get free LEGAL music downloads?

I am looking for popular stuff like Kelly Clarkson and oldies like the Gogo's and Duran Duran. I am a college student and so am short on cash but I don't want to get in legal trouble for downloading. Please help me!Does anyone know of a good place to get free LEGAL music downloads?

Even though it's not hit bands or anything, try newgrounds.com People here create all kinds of music, and submit it for the world to see. Go to the newgrounds, and click on the button that says "Audio Portal" They have everything from techno, Rap, Latin, Pop, Ambient, Rock, trance, Country, and many different more! Good place to watch flash movies too!
