Questions from the play Waiting For Godot?

Didi and gogo wait for Godot during the day. But for some reason they dont have to wait for him at night.. what is that all about?Questions from the play Waiting For Godot?
It's not safe to wait at night, and it's cold. They have to get under cover. Vladimir is repeatedly attacked at night, as he reports the next day.

And the unspoken implication is that they're after some kind of business arrangement, hired work probably, which would naturally be handled during normal business hours. Under the tree.

They're basically beggars looking for work. Hobos is what we'd call them here.
