It would be very cute! I think you should get it. My general rule of thumb is to never buy something meant for kids that are younger than her age but if it's reasonable in price I usually don't have a problem getting toys a little more advanced. It's never a bad thing to learn ahead of her age.
I have a 2 year old and often buy toys that are a little over the age range too and I don't see any problems with it. Anyways, I have learned in my lifespan class that it may confuse or frustrate some children when you give them a toy that's not age appropriate. All in all it's up to you but there is studies stating you shouldn't. I still don't follow this but I'm more aware now that I have the knowledge. Is my toddler too young for this toy?
Not too young! That is sooo cute! We have a real little dog jsut like that one and our 14 month old LOVES to walk her. Of course I help in case she attempts to run off, but he gets sooo excited walking her! lol Our son will be about 16 months at Christmas and we are buying him a remote control car and a Megaland Pop Up Playset! Good Luck!!
I think at that age there'd probably be more fun to be had from a pull-along toy.
The Plan Toys alligator is wonderful: http://www.amazon.com/Plan-Toys-0510502-鈥?/a>
...also a lot easier to keep clean and looking new, and non-broken, than the furry fancy dog.Is my toddler too young for this toy?
