How fast does light travel in km/s ? Cheers :)?

For physics homework and also for u fabbity fab phycis gogos out der please fill in the gaps approtily !

One________ for this expansion is that universe began with a huge explosion about _________ years ago. This is called the ________ _______ theory i know the lst gap but not the others pweeze help fink of some lovely 10 POINTS love ya all :)How fast does light travel in km/s ? Cheers :)?
One 'theory'

about '13.7 billion'

the 'big bang' theory.
one theory

about 14 billion years ago (13.73)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_the_鈥?/a>

The speed of light in a vacuum is presently defined to be exactly 299,792,458 m/s [(divide by 1000 for km/s)] (about 186,282.397 miles per second).

Light travels at about 3 x 10 ^ 8 meters/second so for km/s I would think that you would just divide that by 1,000 (10^3) so it would be 3 x 10 ^ 5 km/s or 300,000 km/s.
its the Big Bang theory but i have no idea how long ago! you will find it easily on the internet as you will how fast light travels! im not doing all your homework for you, i suffered so so will you! good luck! =%26gt; How fast does light travel in km/s ? Cheers :)?
light travels at 300 000 km/s(approx)

: theory

:13 000 million

: Big bang

light travels at 300 000 km/s

first gap= theory

second gap= 13 000 million

third gap= Big bang

hope that helps : )
299,799.865 km/s

I believe it is 186,287 miles per second
